1. Who this is between, and agreeing to it

DataTaper is owned and operated by IGDB Solutions Private Limited. By downloading, installing, activating a licence key for, or using DataTaper, you agree to the User Agreement. If you don't agree, don't use it. See sections 1–2.

2. Who can use it

DataTaper is for business and professional use by people of legal age. Your licence is locked to one active device, and you must keep your licence key private — sharing, reselling, or transferring it isn't allowed. See section 3.

3. What you can and can't do with the software

You get a limited, personal licence to use DataTaper for your own business. You may not copy, resell, sublicense, or redistribute it; reverse-engineer it; tamper with credit limits, device locking, or billing; or use it to build a competing product. See section 4.

4. Plans, credits, and billing

There are Free, Pro, and Enterprise plans. Features spend Credits; plan allowances reset each billing cycle, while separately-bought Credit Packs stay until used. Using your own API keys (BYO) can add a small per-action fee to a monthly bill. Credits, Credit Packs, and plan fees are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise. See section 5 and section 15.

5. How your data is handled

It depends on the lookup. With your own API key (BYO), requests go straight from your device to the provider — we never see the results, only a usage count for billing. With DataTaper-metered lookups, requests pass through our servers and results may be cached for up to 120 days to avoid duplicate charges. Files you upload (like CSVs) are processed on your device. See section 6.

6. Scraping and your IP address

Some features use your own network. Premium Search runs through our servers, so your IP isn't exposed. But free/browser-based Search, LinkedIn discovery, and the URL Scanner run from your own device and IP — which can trigger CAPTCHAs, rate limits, or IP blocks, and may need you to solve a CAPTCHA by hand. You accept those risks. See section 7.

7. Using DataTaper responsibly

You decide what you search for and what you do with the results, so you're responsible for making sure your searches and your use of the data follow the law that applies to you and to the people whose data you handle. That includes data-protection, privacy, anti-spam, and marketing rules (like GDPR, CAN-SPAM, or India's DPDP Act). Follow third-party terms too, including LinkedIn's and search engines'. As between us, you are the data controller for the data you collect, and unlawful use is a breach of the agreement. See section 8 and section 13.

8. Where the data comes from

Contact and company data shown in DataTaper comes from independent third-party B2B prospecting and data-enrichment providers and from publicly accessible sources. DataTaper is the interface to those providers; we don't create or verify their data, and responsibility for how that source data was collected, and for whether it's lawful and accurate, sits with the provider that supplies it. See section 9.

9. Accuracy, warranties, and liability

DataTaper and all data are provided "as is" — we don't guarantee that any email, enrichment, or search result is accurate or that scraping will succeed, since these depend on third parties. Our liability is limited, and it's capped at the fees you paid us in the three months before a claim. We're not liable for IP blocks, third-party account bans, or third-party data accuracy. These limits, and the indemnity you give us, cover IGDB Solutions Private Limited together with its affiliates and their founders, directors, officers, partners, employees, contractors, shareholders, and investors (the agreement calls them "Protected Persons"). Nothing in the agreement removes liability that can't legally be excluded. See sections 10–12.

10. Suspension, termination, and changes

We can suspend or end access for breach, non-payment, or abuse, and you can stop using DataTaper anytime. The app may update itself automatically, and we may revise the User Agreement — continued use after a change means you accept it. See section 14 and section 16.

11. Governing law

This agreement is governed by the laws of India, and the courts in Vadodara, India have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any non-waivable rights under your local law. See section 18.
